The Practice
A watch is rarely finished the day it is bought. The dial is where a timepiece stops being a product and starts becoming yours.
Bezel King is a small Sydney studio devoted to the components that define character — dials first, with straps and bezels to follow. We work slowly, hold little, and part with nothing we would not fit ourselves.

On Colour
Depth is a decision,
not an accident
Lacquer laid in successive coats behaves differently under light than paint sprayed once. A sunburst finish should shift from near-black to full saturation as the wrist turns — never flatten, never glare.
We select for that behaviour specifically, which is why the catalogue stays deliberately small.

The Studio
Small hands,
long hours
Every order is checked, wrapped and dispatched by the same two people who chose it. There is no warehouse. There is a bench, a loupe, and a standard we refuse to move.
Our story01
Considered selection
Nothing enters the catalogue without being handled first. Finish, colour depth and index alignment are judged by eye, not by spec sheet.
02
Made to be fitted
Every dial is measured against its reference movement so the piece you receive sits correctly the first time it is seated.
03
Quietly delivered
Each order leaves Sydney within hours, wrapped in protective tissue and tracked to your door, anywhere in the world.
Next Edition
Straps & bezels,
in progress
Two further chapters are in development — hand-finished leather and rubber straps, and machined bezel inserts cut to reference. They will arrive when they are right, and not before.
